Dietetic and Nutrition Service

Dietetic and Nutrition Service

The nutrition service, led by a professional dietitian, ensures that each patient receives tailored and nutritious meals during their hospital stay, carefully adapted to their medical condition and specific needs. Special diets and menus are designed and regularly updated to align with the latest dietary standards and patient preferences.

We strive to respect patient preferences whenever possible, while always considering their health requirements. If any issues or concerns arise regarding meals, patients are encouraged to communicate promptly with the nursing staff to ensure their needs are addressed effectively.

For additional support, dietitian consultations can be arranged to provide education and guidance both during hospitalization and for managing nutrition at home. Particular attention is given to patients on enteral feeding via nasogastric tubes or gastrostomies, as well as those in postoperative care, ensuring they receive an adequate and appropriate diet to promote recovery and overall well-being.

Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to nutrition, fostering health and comfort throughout the care journey.
